Quick Start Guide
- Power On: Press and hold the power button until the FNIRSI logo appears on the 2.8-inch display.
- Select Mode: Use the directional pad to select between Oscilloscope, Multimeter, or Generator modes.
- Oscilloscope Mode: Connect the BNC probe, press 'Auto' for automatic waveform scaling, and adjust timebase/voltage scales manually if required.
- Multimeter Mode: Insert the test leads into the standard COM and V/Ω/mA ports. Select your measurement type (Voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, etc.) using the interface.
- Signal Generator: Connect the alligator clips to the generator output, select your desired waveform (Sine, Square, Triangle), and set the frequency and amplitude.

I purchased this for our university electronics lab. It's a fantastic educational tool. The students find the interface much less intimidating than our older Hantek gear, and the 19999-count DMM is highly accurate.
Great value for money and very capable. My only minor gripe is that the 2.8-inch screen can be a bit small when trying to read complex waveforms from a distance, but for a handheld unit, it's a fair compromise.
I was comparing this to an OWON model but chose the FNIRSI for the built-in DDS generator. It's been invaluable for injecting signals into amplifier circuits while simultaneously scoping the output.
